Dehradun: Deepak Rawat, a Mela officer from Haridwar, arrived at Pandey Wala Dhirwali in Jhampur and inspected the place of stay of the akharas. He inspected the arrangements for health, electricity, water, toilets etc. Rawat gave a proper guideline to various officers present on the occasion. With the international president of the Juana Akhara, Prem Giri, the Sadhus Saints were present on the spot in heavy figures. In this Kumbh Mela, a holding area with a capacity of five to six thousand people is being created near Shivmurthy in the station premises to avoid overcrowding of people at the station. About seven to eight teensheds are being constructed. The Kumbh Mela has a crowd of people returning home after all bathing. In view of corona infection, some precautions will be taken in the station premises. Ms Meena of Moradabad division said that the railway people will be given entry into the premises from the railway station which will be left out. Other people will be held in the holding area. More than 100 CCTVs have been installed in the holding area. These cameras will be connected to CCR and railway control rooms. These cameras will monitor people. On Tuesday, devotees of Ishwar Mahadev Temple, Thal Pithoragarh, Jakeshwar Temple, Almora, Haldwani, Dineshpur, Bazpur, Rudrapur, Garhwal, Yamunotri Dham reached Haridwar to bathe.
