Haryana elections: Congress takes action against rebels, many former MLAs and ministers involved

Chandigarh: There is less than two weeks left in the assembly elections in Haryana. In such a situation, the political movement in the state has intensified. Congress is struggling with terrible internal strife in the state. Former state president Ashok Tanwar has already resigned. The rebellion in the party has increased after the ticket distribution. Taking strict action on this, the rebel leaders have been expelled from the party for six years. Those who have decided to go out of the party line and contest elections. Actually, these Congress leaders are those who were seeking tickets for the assembly from the party high command.

But when the high command decided to field other Congress leaders instead of these leaders, these leaders should come on a revolt. These leaders not only started openly opposing the party, but they also filled their papers against the Congress candidate as an independent candidate. Although the top leaders of the Congress also tried their best to accept these rebel leaders, when the matter did not work, the party now has to be expelled after losing it.

These leaders who were expelled from the party include eight former MLAs and other Congress leaders. Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President and MP Kumari Selja has expelled 16 persons from the party for violating the party's constitution and contesting the 2019 assembly elections as anti-party. Let us tell you that voting is to be held on 21 October and counting of votes on 24 October in Haryana.
