Haryana Government's big Decision on Development Fee Refunds

Chandigarh: The Haryana government has made a decision to refund development fees to property owners who erroneously paid fees not applicable to their properties. This decision, prompted by the government's awareness of the issue, will benefit owners of 1588 properties.

A spokesperson from the Urban Local Bodies Department stated that they have identified these properties, encompassing HSVP, HSIIDC, licensed colonies, CLU acquired properties, Lal-Dora residential properties, and agricultural properties, where owners paid development charges mistakenly. The department has furnished details of these properties to the relevant municipalities.

Property owners have been notified through SMS about the refund process, encouraging them to apply on the NDC portal to reclaim the development fees erroneously paid. The total refund amounts to Rs 5 crore 19 lakh for these property holders. Owners are requested to visit https://ulbhryndc.org to provide their details for further processing. Currently, 51 property owners have submitted their applications on the NDC portal, and the department is swiftly processing these requests. The concerned employees have also received training to expedite the process of returning development fees to property owners.
