Delhi: Speeding BMW Hits Parked Ciaz Car, Injures Evening Walkers

New Delhi: On Sunday night, a speeding BMW collided with a Ciaz car in the Greater Kailash Enclave-2 area of South Delhi, injuring four pedestrians who were out for an evening walk. The female driver of the BMW also sustained injuries, and all the injured individuals were promptly taken to the AIIMS Trauma Center for medical treatment. The police are currently investigating the incident, and legal action will be taken under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The female driver of the BMW has been taken into custody, and she, along with her family members, has been sent to the hospital for a medical examination. CCTV footage near the scene of the incident has revealed the moment when the pedestrians were struck by the vehicle. The four injured individuals, residents of Kolhapur, had come to Delhi for business and were staying in a hotel in Greater Kailash, South Delhi. They had gone out for a walk after dinner. The injured have been identified as 58-year-old Yashwant Nalwade, 50-year-old Devraj Madhukar Gargate, 62-year-old Manohar, and Nitin Kolhapuri.

Delhi Police received a PCR call at CR Park regarding the accident at Masjid Moth on the night of November 19. Police officers arrived at the scene in GK Enclave-2, where a BMW and a Ciaz car were found in an accident condition. The investigation revealed that the BMW, driven by a woman, collided with the parked Ciaz car. The impact was so strong that the Ciaz car hit four pedestrians.
