In the midst of lockdown and corona crisis, Rakesh Daulatabad, an independent MLA from Badshahpur Assembly constituency in Gurugram district, has come up with a unique idea to overcome the problems related to electricity, water, sewer and road department in his area. The MLA, while making a press conference on Tuesday, announced that the officers and employees doing good work in the works related to electricity, water, sewer and road department in their area will be given a reward of Rs 25 lakh.
In his statement, Badshahpur MLA Rakesh Daulatabad said that on the basis of officials related to electricity, water, sewer and roads, who will get good rating from citizens, a reward of Rs 25 lakh will be given to the officer / employee concerned. He told that this decision has been taken so that the officers / employees will address the grievances of the public at the earliest.
Apart from this, Rakesh Daulatabad said that he hears the problems of the people by holding the Janata Darbar. Complaint is sent to the concerned department officials. They also see which officer has redressed the complaint. The MLA said that after one year from today i.e. on June 2, 2021, the public will be elected as the best officer / employee. He will give 25 lakh as reward from his pocket (private fund). The MLA said that the names of officials who do not solve the problems will be revealed. The names of such officers have been sought from the public. Investigation will be done on the basis of names. The list of non-performing officers will be submitted to the Chief Minister. According to the information received, only one officer or employee will get the reward. The public will evaluate the officers and employees who have done the best work in the fields of electricity, water, sewer and roads.
