Sonipat: The Haryana Police has arrested Anjali, an accused woman, in connection with the acid attack on a youth in Mayur Vihar, Sonipat, Haryana. The police have conducted a medical examination of the accused woman and will produce her in court. At the same time, the accused woman has revealed to the police that had thrown acid on Shyam in anger only after he refused to marry her. Shyam is undergoing treatment at a private hospital. On October 26, Anjali threw acid on a young man named Shyam in anger because Shyam's family refused to marry Anjali and Shyam. However, even after several days, the Sonipat police were not arresting Anjali, due to which Shyam's family, along with social organizations, protested fiercely against the Sonipat police in front of the Mini Secretariat in Sonipat. After this, Sonipat police lost sleep and the police arrested the accused woman Anjali, who threw acid on Shyam, from her house. Sonipat police have taken the accused woman to the Civil Hospital in Sonipat for a medical examination on Tuesday (November 2), where Anjali's medical examination was done. SI Katar Singh has informed that on October 26, a young man named Shyam was attacked with acid in Mayur Vihar. A case was registered on the complaint of the youth's aunt. A young woman named Anjali was accused. Anjali has been arrested from her village. Anjali has told that she attacked Shyam with acid only after refusing to marry.
