Gurugram: The Haryana Police have arrested all five accused involved in the gang rape of a class 10 student in the Gurugram district. According to the report, two of the five accused are minors, who have been produced before the Juvenile Justice Board as per rules and sent to a juvenile home. ACP Udyog Vihar Manoj Kumar confirmed the arrest of the five accused.

In fact, on October 30, a case of gang rape was registered at the Sector 9-A  police station on the complaint of the victim's mother. ACP Manoj Kumar has informed that according to the statement of the victim's mother, on October 29, her daughter suddenly got disappeared. Throughout the night, they searched for the daughter, but could not find the victim. The next morning, the daughter was found in a bad condition. When asked by her mother, the victim narrated the brutality meted out to her. The victim's mother had lodged a complaint with the police on October 30. However, the five accused involved in the gang rape have been arrested and further action has been initiated.

Preliminary investigation has also revealed that the victim knew the two accused involved in the crime beforehand. Relying on both of them, the student had gone to eat with them in the restaurant, but the accused gang-raped her in a planned manner in the sector 9 hotel. ACP Udyog Vihar Gurugram, Manoj Kumar has said that the two accused are minors. A total of five accused have been arrested. Since the case pertains to a minor, they refused to divulge further details.
