Rain wreak havoc in Hoshangabad, water entering residential areas, roads submerged

Hoshangabad: Water has entered several colonies due to incessant rains since 3 pm and roads are also witnessing the same situation in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh. To avoid any serious situation, the people of the area have locked their houses and taken shelter in safer places so that the family does not face any problem.

However, in the morning, the home guards and district administration teams took a stand and evacuated the people trapped in the water. Simultaneously, proper evacuation of rain water broke the wall and created the place. Rain water has also entered some schools in the city. Due to which schools have been discharged. In Hoshangabad city, the situation in the city has deteriorated due to the late night torrential rains. Water is visible all around the city.

Several colonies in the district have been flooded with rain in Ankita Nagar, Narayan Nagar, Adamgarh, Sanjay Nagar, Narmada Bihar colonies. Locals say the situation has deteriorated due to the municipality's neglect. Encroachment on the city's drains and drainage areas have been narrowed by the people, causing rain water to flood residential areas.
