Shimla: Corona epidemic has caught millions of people of the country. Meanwhile, the Health Department has claimed that out of 1334 COVID-19 positive patients admitted to Himachal's Kovid Centers, 529 people will be healthy within a week. The health of all these people is improving. Additional Chief Secretary Health RD Dhiman said that 1000 to 1500 samples are being taken daily in the state.
The speed of sampling is being increased further. Corona samples will also be tested in tribal areas of the state. Kits have been sent for this area. He said that so far 90 percent of the COVID-19 positive patients are people who have come to the state from the outskirts. It is noteworthy that the city of Solan has the highest number of 376 active cases. Along with this, the cases of corona in the state are also increasing continuously.
On the other hand, more than 26 lakh cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country so far and the death toll has crossed 50 thousand. However, the good thing is that the number of patients recovering from corona infection is increasing rapidly. So far, more than 19 lakh patients have been cured. Recovery in the country is 72.51 percent and death rate is 1.92 percent. According to the Health Ministry, 57 thousand 982 cases have been reported during the last 24 hours in the country, and 941 people have died. During this, seven lakh 31 thousand 697 sample tests have been done.
