New Delhi: The Union Home Ministry has termed the Rohingya as a threat to the country on a question on Rohingyas in the Lok Sabha. The Interior Ministry has said that some Rohingya migrants have been reported to be involved in illegal activities. The government has also said that there is no ban on repatriation of Rohingyas. Action is being taken on the basis of rules. The Home Ministry has also responded to the cause of the second corona wave in the Lok Sabha. He said that when corona cases were decreasing, concessions were being given and covid rules were not followed, causing the infection to increase. The changing nature of the corona variant also played a key role in spreading the transition, with the Central Government learning from various teams formed by it. On the other hand, infections increased in states due to people not being able to behave according to covid. The Minister of State for Home Affairs has raised the issue several times before. Last year, in Parliament, he said that illegal infiltrators enter India without any documents, so there is no record of their numbers. Even in 2019, Nityanand Rai said there was no record of the number of Rohingyas. Replying to a question in the Lok Sabha, he said that since illegal migrants travel in the country without documents, the exact figures do not exist.
