New Delhi: The opposition is completely attacking the central government in the monsoon session of Parliament. The opposition has rallied over the recent phone hacking case revelations and is seeking answers from the government. Other parties, including the Congress, left, have now demanded a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) inquiry into the issue. On the other hand, the issue is being raised with full force by the opposition in both the Houses of Parliament.

Congress MP Shakti Singh Gohil has said on the issue that the Congress demands a JPC probe into the entire matter. Gaurav Gogoi of the Congress said the government's reply is disappointing. The government is only saving the NSO group, but it should conduct an inquiry. Gaurav Gogoi said the former IT minister wanted an inquiry into the matter but the new minister is not doing so. Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Choudhary has hit out at the Central government over the issue.

Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said the BJP is running a spy ing system instead of democracy. Our leader Rahul Gandhi has also been spied on, the Home Minister should resign from his post. Adhir Ranjan further said that a judicial inquiry should be instituted. Whoever is against the government is being spied on. The government cannot run away from the discussion. Shiv Sena MPs have also demanded a JPC probe into the espionage case, in view of which MPs have also met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
