HYDERABAD: In a horrifying incident, a man in Hyderabad killed his wife and two children and hanged himself to death. On Monday, after receiving complaints from the neighbours about a bad smell, police forced open the door to their home in the Papireddy colony in the Chandanagar area and found the dead bodies. The bodies of Nagaraju, his wife Sujata, and their kids Ramyasri (7) and Sidappa (11) were discovered sprawled around the house. Police believe the incident happened on Friday. Nagaraju killed his wife and children by attacking them with a tailor's scissors before hanging himself. The deceased's bodies were moved for the autopsy. At Chandanagar Police Station, a case was reported to the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. Nagaraju, who was originally from Zaheerabad in the Sangareddy district, has been residing and working in Hyderabad for a number of years. Nagaraju's family relatives claimed that he and his wife frequently fought. They believe he committed the horrible murder after a fight with Sujata on Friday night. The house had been shut for the previous three days, and a strange stench was coming from it, so the neighbours became concerned and called the police. The situation is being looked into from all directions. Additionally, they were attempting to determine whether Nagaraju had any mental health issues or harboured any misgivings about his wife, polcie said. Sujata was doing tailoring work and also used to lend money on interest. They said the family didn't appear to have any financial problems but Nagaraju was not treating her well.
