NEW DELHI: A few days ago Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal urged minister, MLAs and government employees to travel by public transport at least once a week. Transport Commissioner of Delhi, Ashish Kundra himself took the words of his CM and travelled to Najafgarh by a bus. He tweeted a photo of himself with the caption “Enroute to Najafgarh”. Delhi’s CM could not himself back and appreciated the efforts of Transport commissioner Ashish Kundra. “We are a people-centric government. Our officers, ministers and MLAs are working constantly amongst people.” He tweeted. He added up by tweeting, ”A rare sight to see transport commissioner of a state travelling by state bus to take first hand view from travellers on the problems being faced by them.” Transport minister Kailash Gehlot also appreciated the efforts of Transport commissioner Ashish Kundra. Just few days ago it was Kailash Gehlot who started the trend of travelling in a public transport when he took a public e-bus with local citizens.
