New Delhi: Delhi CM and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal's reaction has come after the Action taken against his own minister in the Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab. CM Kejriwal has praised Bhagwant Mann's move and said that we are proud of Bhagwant Mann. He further said that AAP has proved that even if his neck is cut, he will not betray the country
Vijay Singla, who was a cabinet minister in the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab, was sacked from the cabinet on Tuesday. He was holding important ministries like health in the Punjab government. Shortly after the Punjab government's action, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has also taken action against Singla. On the directions of CM Bhagwant Mann, a case has been registered and the ACB has arrested Vijay Singla.
Vijay Singla was handling the health ministry in the Bhagwant Mann government. There were complaints of Vijay Singla demanding one per cent commission on contracts from officials and indulging in corruption. After getting strong evidence about Vijay Singla's allegation of involvement in corruption, CM Bhagwant Mann showed him the way out of his cabinet.
