No law of the Indian Parliament applies to the cultural and religious matters of the people of Nagaland. The law of the Parliament and any order of the Supreme Court will not apply to the customary laws and traditions of the Naga people. With this, the land of Nagaland will not be transferred to non-Nagas.
Opposing 100% amendment in the National Register of Citizens (NRC), the only MLA of his party said that there should be a partial amendment in its place.
