Mumbai: The ongoing sit-in on loudspeakers in Maharashtra is not taking the name of stopping. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has once again announced that hanuman chalisa will be recited where loudspeakers will not come down from mosques. Raj Thackeray said, "It is a social subject, it is not religious. If they give it a religious colour, we will respond in the same fashion.
Raj Thackeray further said, "We want to talk about this issue peacefully, but the government is not understanding it. The government is arresting our people. What will the government gain from arresting our people? Raj Thackeray said, "I am not doing this that don't do azaan, don't pray in the mosque. My only objection is don't use a loudspeaker. Raj Thackeray said, "My protest is against the use of loudspeakers throughout the year. How can mosques be allowed to use loudspeakers throughout the year?
Raj Thackeray said, "We had requested to remove the loudspeaker by May 4. We had said that if azaan took place on the loudspeaker, we would recite hanuman chalisa on the loudspeaker. Raj Thackeray said that there are 1400 mosques in Mumbai, 135 mosques were given azaan from loudspeakers by breaking the Supreme Court order. I want to ask the Government, what action has been taken on them?
