Husband jumps into river after wife didn't pick up phone, shocking case

Patna: In a shocking incident, a desperate husband jumped into the Gandak river on the night of Karva Chauth in Hajipur on Thursday. The people present there hurriedly informed the police. The SDRF team reached the spot and rescued the man.

According to the news received, Bhuttan, a resident of Bidupur, is handicapped. She was married 15 years ago. She has four daughters. There was often a quarrel between husband and wife over their upbringing and marriage. Due to this, the wife got angry and went to her maternal home. From there, she went to work in Delhi near her relative. Bhuttan used to constantly call his wife to convince her. The husband also called his wife to celebrate the day of Karva Chauth. But despite repeated calls, the wife did not answer the phone.

Fed up with this, Bhuttan came to Hajipur from Bidupur on a bicycle 20 km away. Thereafter, he jumped into the river from the Sonepur-Hajipur Gandak bridge. In this case, the police seized the bicycle and informed the family members. After that, the young man was persuaded and handed over to the family. People around are scared of this incident.
