Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Transport Department has taken a big decision in view of fog. In the order issued by the department, it has been said that buses will not run in the state after 12 o'clock at night. This decision has been taken so that accidents due to fog can be prevented. The department has also stopped online ticket booking for a month. According to the report, buses of Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will not run during the night in Uttar Pradesh. The department has taken this big decision after accidents due to fog. Now the decision to run buses at night will be taken after the weather improves. Officials say that after the fog is cleared, UP Transport buses will run. Instructions have been issued to RM and ARM to hold camps from 8 pm to 8 am. The order also said that buses will stop at stations and hotels en route till fog conditions prevail. Stalls and restaurants will also be open at night. Sanjay Kumar of Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation instructed all the area in-charges through video conferencing that accidents are taking place due to fog. Necessary decisions are being taken to prevent these accidents. That is, buses will no longer be operated at night.
