New Delhi: In the case of the major animal feed producer company of North India, the Income Tax Department has today raided 16 locations including Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Noida. The action of this raid has also been done in Delhi and Ludhiana. During this period, the Income Tax Department has also recovered large number of cash along with jewelery. Raid is still on. Animal feed producing company is alleged to have taken home entries of more than Rs 100 crore as non-genuine unsecured loans from some shell companies in Delhi. During the raids, it has been found that the shell companies from which loans were taken are available only on paper and have no real business and credit. The directors of these shell companies are dummies, non-filers and without any means. One of the directors of these companies has been found as a taxi driver, who has 11 bank accounts, with a lot of money in it. This shows that housing entries worth more than Rs 21 crore in the form of unsecured loans from these shell companies are fake. During the raids, the investment in the construction of houses of the main people of the animal feed producer company was revealed. So far, gold and diamond jewelery worth Rs 52 lakh has been recovered. 1.30 crore have been found, which are being verified. A total of 7 lockers have been found, whose investigation is going on.
