The first One-Day International game between India and South Africa at the Ekana Stadium has been delayed by 30 minutes due to overnight flooding in the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The toss for the Day/Night match which was scheduled to be held at 1 pm will now be held at 1:30 pm. The play will start at 2:00-pm, the Board of Control for Cricket in India said in a tweet on Thursday. Following an early inspection on Thursday, the umpires made the decision to postpone the toss and game time for the opening game of the three-ODI series. The teams had previously participated in a T20 series of three games, which India won 2-1. The first two games were won by India in Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati. The third match played in Indore was won by South Africa. The teams will go from Lucknow to Ranchi for the second game on October 9 before concluding the series in New Delhi with the third game on October 11.
