New Delhi: Coronavirus cases continue to rise in the country. In the last 24 hours, 40,715 corona cases have been reported. Last day, 29 thousand 785 patients were recovered. On Monday, 199 people lost their lives due to the virus. Corona cases have been registering a steady increase since March 15. The figure for active cases has increased by 10,676 in the last 24 hours. 3 lakh 45 thousand 377 patients are currently undergoing treatment. According to the health ministry, 116 lakh 86 thousand 796 people have been exposed to the epidemic in the country so far. Out of these, 1 crore 11 lakh 81 thousand 253 patients have been recovered while 1 lakh 60 thousand 166 people have died. So far, 484 lakh 94 thousand 594 people have been vaccinated. In Maharashtra, 24,645 people were found to have corona positive on Monday. 19,463 patients recovered and 58 died. So far 25.04 lakh people have been infected with the corona in the state. Out of these, 22.34 lakh patients have been recovered, while 53,457 have died. 2.15 lakh patients are currently undergoing treatment. In the country's capital, 888 people have been found corona positive in the last 24 hours. 565 patients recovered and 7 died. So far, 6.48 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 6.33 lakh people have been recovered, while 10,963 lost their lives. 3,934 patients are undergoing treatment.
