New Delhi: In order to win the battle of the Corona epidemic, the work of vaccine-making in India is going on in full swing and now a vaccine trial will also be started soon. This information has been given by the government. In this regard, the Union Health Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that upon getting the regulatory approval, the Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech will start the trial of the vaccine. Currently, there is no trial going on any kind of nasal vaccine in India. According to the news, Bharat Biotech has entered into an agreement with Washington University and St. Louis University regarding the coronavirus vaccine. Dr. Harshvardhan said that Bharat Biotech has entered into a contract with the University of Washington School of Medicine, under which the company will start the trial, produce and trade the intranasal vaccine for SRS-COV-2. He said that the Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech will soon start a late-stage trial of their coronavirus vaccine in India in which volunteers from 30,000 to 40,000 will be able to participate. Doctor Reddy's Lab of India and Russian Direct Investment Fund have also been allowed to conduct large stage clinical trials of Russia's Sputnik-V vaccine in India. Earlier, the DGCI refused to approve it saying that the first and second phase of this vaccine trial in Russia has been conducted on very few people.
