New Delhi: In order to avenge the Pulwama terror attack on 14 February, the evidence of the airstrikes in Balakot, which has entered India from across the border Pakistan, has been made public for the first time. Air Force promotional film has shown parts of footage of Balakote airstrike of 26 February. Air Force Day is to be celebrated on 8 October. Earlier this video was displayed during the Air Force Day Press Conference. It also shows video footage of Jambaz Bahadur who carried out Operation Balakot.

On this occasion, Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadoria said that in the last one year the Air Force has achieved many important achievements. This includes successfully destroying terrorist targets in Balakot on 26 February. He also said that in the air war with Pakistan on 27 February, the Indian Air Force lost one of its MiG-21s and one of Pakistan's F-16 was destroyed.

On February 27, after the crash of a Mi-17 helicopter in Srinagar, the Air Force Chief said that the Court of Inquiry, in this case, has been completed. He said that "it was our fault because our own missile had targeted the helicopter. We will take action against the two officers found guilty. We accept this as our big mistake and assure that this kind of mistake will not happen again in future".
