Military officers meet Kashmiri Hajj pilgrims, say pray for peace in valley

Srinagar: The Army is constantly trying to connect with the common people in Jammu and Kashmir. On Monday, the Kashmiri pilgrims who went for Haj met goose-chinaR Corps Lt. Gen. KJS Dhillon at Nehj House. During the visit, he asked the Pilgrims to pray for peace and tranquility in Kashmir.

Lt Gen KJS Dhillon said, "For the opportunity you have received today, best wishes for that. Pray for the success of your Haj pilgrimage on behalf of me and the Indian Army."  He has said that for this sweet moment of life, which is the heartofy of any Muslim. Happy success to you and the whole family on this occasion. During your Hajj pilgrimage, you pray for peace and tranquillity in your family's Kashmir.

During the visit, the Army Commander also gave gifts to the Kashmiri pilgrims who visited the Haj pilgrimage. The Chinar Corps Commander had earlier met the devotees at the Kheer Bhawani Mela in Tulla Mullah Ganderbal and Shri Amarnathji Yatra. Army officials say the Indian Army has always wanted to join the common man's grief in fighting terrorism in Kashmir.
