New Delhi: The youth of the country is struggling with unemployment on one hand, while in the meantime, the Indian IT sector is facing a new problem these days, The Great Resignation. Actually, giant IT companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro are failing to keep the employees engaged with them. In these companies, there has been a huge increase in the Attrition Rate i.e. the number of people leaving their jobs in recent times. These companies are hiring freshers on a large scale to compensate for this. The three major Indian IT companies had released the December quarter results on Wednesday. In this, companies were given information about the increasing Attrition Rate. In the number one Indian IT company TCS, the quitting rate has increased to 15.3% in the December quarter. A quarter before this, i.e. during July-September 2021, this rate was recorded at 11.9%. TCS says that this rate is the lowest in the IT industry, but even after this, it cannot be called good. Similarly, if you look at the second number IT company Infosys, then the problem here is a bit more serious. In Infosys, the employee quitting rate has increased to 25.5% in the December quarter.
