These days various filmmakers are making movies on different subjects and now the trailer of another good story is grabbing all the limelight Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming directorial India Lockdown was unveiled. It stars Prateik Babbar, Aahana Kumra and Shweta Basu Prasad among others. Madhur Bhandarkar's India Lockdown trailer was released on November 17. Lockdown follows the tragic events that took place after the Indian government declared a complete lockdown for 21 days during the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. The trailer of India Lockdown sees people from different strata of society being affected by the lockdown news. The almost two-and-a-half-minute trailer opens with people from various backgrounds – a pilot, a sex worker, a daily-wage laborer, a house worker and mother, among others – trying to keep up with Covid-19 lockdown updates. It starts with Ahana, a pilot, distracts herself by flirting with a neighbor, a migrant laborer is hopeful his wife, a house worker (Sai), and him will resume work ‘soon’ as the lockdown will end in '21 days’ but the lockdown continues and they must now make choices to either give up, or survive at all costs. A sex worker is seen finding new ways to earn money as physical contact is restricted due to Covid-19. Prateik, Sai, and their children walk hundreds of kilometers to them. The two-minute trailer showed the lives of five people from different backgrounds and different professions fighting for survival in covid time.
