Bhopal: The wheels of the train were also halted due to Corona infection. However, seeing the situation, trains have started running on the track again. The railway is now going to give disposable sheets and blankets to its passengers in the train to fight the corona infection. Danapur Railway Division has started this initiative. For this, passengers will also have to pay a nominal fee. Due to Corona infection, the railways have stopped giving away reusable sheets and blankets. It could have increased the risk of infection. In view of this danger, the Railways had also removed the curtains from AC coaches. Now the sheets and blankets which are going to be given, the passengers will be able to use it only once.
Danapur Railway Division of Railways has prepared four types of disposable linen kits (sheet, blanket, towel set), which are available for mixing between Rs 50 and Rs 250. Railways will make these kits available on the platform and inside the train. About this time, an official of the Railway Board told that this arrangement is to be done in all the railway boards. By doing this, the willing passengers will be able to buy the kit during the journey. On completion of the journey, it will be mandatory to put sheets, blankets, towels in the dustbin available on the platforms.
Earlier, the railway used to give towels, sheets, and blankets to the passengers. Now they were sent for washing after use once and then used. Passengers did not have to pay a separate fee for this, they were available only with tickets but now is the time to rain. The passengers traveling in AC at night time are feeling cold, so the railway is making the linen kit available. This facility will also be available in trains passing through Bhopal Railway Division.
