India's representative in UN, T. S. Tirumurti, says The war against terrorism will continue

Washington: India's representative in the United Nations, T. S. Tirumurti, has said that India is confident of becoming a temporary member of the Security Council. Senior diplomat T. S. Tirumurti who replaced former India diplomat Syed Akbaruddin in the United Nations, said there is no value in Pakistan's false propaganda in the world and India is firm against the conspiracy to provide money to terrorism from across the border. We will keep fighting.

In the first interview with a news channel after joining on the post of India's permanent representative to the United Nations in New York, diplomat TS Tirumurthy explained India's priorities and agenda at the United Nations. T. S. Tirumurti is holding the post of Permanent Representative of India at UN when India is going to become a temporary member of UNSC after 10 years. On such an occasion, India's role and the diplomatic responsibility of TS Tirumurthy become important.

The election for the UNSC Temporary Security Council is going to be held on 17 June. The election process will be the first activity in the United Nations campus after its closure in mid-March this year. Speaking to the media from New York, Ambassador Tirumurti said that India will win by a two-thirds majority in the Elite-15 club of the Security Council. He said that his priority would be to give a stage to those voices that have not been heard yet.
