ISLAMABAD: The coronavirus which has been increasing in Pakistan since the last few days, has started to grow even more rapidly. Every day many people are getting infected due to the virus. The condition of almost all hospitals is pathetic. The Imran Khan government does not have enough money to treat patients, health workers are forced to treat without PPE kits but at this time, Rs 1.29 trillion is being allocated for the defense budget.

According to the information, the government of Pakistan has presented a budget for the year 2020 and 21, in which the proposal to allocate Rs 1.29 trillion for the defense budget has been issued. In the National Assembly, Minister of Industry and Production Hamad Azhar presented the budget for the financial year 2020-21. In this, he said that we are grateful to the armed forces of Pakistan. During the financial crisis in the country during the Covid-19 epidemic, the government has presented a budget of 70.13 trillion rupees and has not imposed any new tax. In the current financial year 2019-20 which will end on June 30, the defense budget was kept the same as the previous financial year.

The Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) -led government of Pakistan has announced the budget for this financial year. This is the second budget proposed by PTI. The PTI-led government announced its first budget in June 2019 and decided to follow the prices of various commodities and taxes in Pakistan.
