Team India reaches Asia cup final, golden chance to lift the trophy for the 7th time

New Delhi: The Indian women's cricket team has confirmed its place in the final of the Asia Cup. In the first semi-final match played in Sylhet, India defeated Thailand. The heroine of India's victory was Deepti Sharma, who bowled brilliantly and took 3 wickets for just 7 runs in 4 overs. At the same time, Shafali Verma played an important role in the victory by scoring 42 runs in 28 balls with the bat. Captain Harmanpreet also played a helpful inning of 36 runs.

Batting first, Team India scored 148 runs in 20 overs. On a bowler-friendly pitch, the Indian batsmen had some trouble playing freely. Along with her, Rajeshwari Gayakwad also took 2 wickets for just 10 runs. Renuka Singh and Sneh Rana also kept the Thai batsmen tied. In the end, Thailand's team could score only 74 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs.
