The price of petrol in the national capital Delhi has crossed Rs 100. 100.21 rupees for one litre of petrol in Delhi and Rs 92.27 for diesel. Petrol and diesel prices were increased on 22 March after remaining stable for a record 137 days. This is the eighth time the price has been hiked since then. At the same time, in the last 6 months, the price of CNG has increased in the country. In Delhi, Indraprastha Gas has increased the prices by 33 per cent, while in Mumbai, Mahanagar Gas has increased the prices by 27 per cent.
