This runner aims to win a medal in Olympics despite odd circumstances

Lalit Mathur, a young runner who was seen in the 2016 Rio Olympics, has been a six-time National Champion, and his dream is to get a medal in the Olympics for the country. Despite having responsibilities like raising his family that includes his mother who has cancer, his father, who is a farmer along with his two sisters, he himself is suffering from serious injury, but that didn't subside his dream of achieving a gold medal in the Olympics.

Also, while preparing himself for the strenuous workout every day in the midst of all the difficult circumstances, Lalit is constantly refining his inner warrior. In the year 2017, Lalit was made the brand ambassador of the cleanliness drive of Delhi Railway Station. He says that there is a railway job for him from the sports quota, but the expenses of his house are very difficult to handle from the job itself. On top of this, the expenses of the treatment of his mother's throat cancer forced him to take a loan. His mother's condition stabilized after getting regular treatment, but it is still difficult to afford cost of the medicines.

He adds that he had requested the Delhi government for help, but he received no help from them. Apart from this, he received no assistance from railways itself. Apart from this, there was no help from the Haryana government also. Lalit says that he cannot find arrangements of a racing track. That's the reason why he practices in the park itself. With this, it is very difficult for him to treat his mother apart from many struggles in his life.
