New Delhi: According to renowned industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple's upcoming iPhone SE model launch may be delayed or even skipped. According to Kuo, the delay could be due to a drop in interest in more affordable alternatives to the SE model. However, no official statement has come about this yet. Instead of 2023, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch in 2024. According to a recent leak, it could sport an iPhone XR-like look with a wide notch display, single rear camera, and curved aluminum rails. It was expected to debut in 2023 to replace the current generation SE handsets, but it appears that Apple is delaying the launch until 2024. The iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 14 Plus, which are considered mid-tier iPhones, shipped in smaller quantities than anticipated. The former is no longer available. As per previous leaks, the iPhone 4 SE will feature a notched display and thin bezels. The front camera, an earpiece/cum-speaker unit, and the Face ID option should all fit inside the top-centre cutout of the device. A 6.1-inch LCD or OLED panel with full-HD+ resolution can be used for the display unit. There could be three color options for the handset. Like the iPhone XR, it is likely to house a 2,900mAh battery, and connectivity options should include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3. It is expected to sport a 12MP single rear camera and a 7MP selfie camera at the front.
