Japan asks India's help troubled by Chinese incursion

Tokyo: Troubled by China's incursion, Japan has requested help from India. Fed up with the increasing number of Chinese warships in the East China Sea, Japan has proposed to increase cooperation with India. Japan's Defense Minister Taro Kono said that China had become a major threat to Japan's security. This statement of the Japanese Foreign Minister has come at a time when tensions between India and China are at the peak.

He has recommended India to set up a comprehensive regional mechanism to counter China's expansionary policies. Japan said that China is also using the Corona epidemic to expand its influence and establish strategic domination. This poses a major threat to Japan and the region. China has a dispute with all the neighbouring countries over the East China Sea. To suppress this, the Chinese Navy is also conducting continuous manoeuvres in the region. Due to which the surrounding countries are being deliberately prevented from going to sea.

He said that both China's capability and intentions seem to be on the wrong track, forcing China to pay some extra price for violating international rules and standards. He also said that Japan and America cannot do this alone. After the resignation of the Japanese Prime Minister, Kano is expected to become the PM.
