Jodhpur Mayor election: Congress' Kunti became mayor in North, BJP's Vanita Seth wins in south

Jaipur: The BJP-Congress has got one seat each in the first two municipal elections in Jodhpur, the home town of Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. The mayor has been elected and now the results have come. In Jodhpur South, Vanita Seth has won by ten votes and Kunti avoidance in Jodhpur North has won the post of mayor defeating Sangita Solanki of BJP by 42 votes. In Jodhpur North, the Congress has won a major victory, the Congress ' Kunti avoidance has got 61 votes and the BJP had to suppress satisfaction only by 19 votes.

The BJP's Sangita Solanki has lost by 42 votes. All the BJP councillors have voted for the North and South Municipal Corporation. According to information received, 19 BJP councillors have voted in the north, and three independent MLAs along with 43 BJP councillors in the south have also come with them. In this case, 46 votes are being claimed in favour of BJP in the south and Congress councillors are expected to reach for voting in a while from now.

All the BJP corporator appeared in saffron cloth. In the meantime, men and women councillors wore saffron, while women were also wearing saffron sarees. The councillors took the first certificate and voted later. The newly-elected BJP councillors have taken the certificate today. The councillor had gone out of Jodhpur in straight fencing after the victory, now he has got a certificate of victory. They have also been administered the oath. All the corporation is being told that all the corporator is reaching together and the polling for the municipal mayor has begun.
