Lucknow: Punit Sethi of Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh is to marry a Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. Punit's friendship was through a web portal from Simran Kaur, who lives in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. The two wanted to bond with each other. But, because of Section 370 of the Constitution, it was not happening. But, now the dream of both is going to come true soon. Amarjit Singh, a resident of Govind Nagar, does the business of auto parts. His son, Puneet Singh Sethi, is posted in the Merchant Navy. Punit's friendship with Simran Kaur, who lives in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, was through a web portal. Simran Kaur teaches at an engineering college in Dehradun. The entire family of Simran was in the citizenship of Jammu and Kashmir. His family lives in Pulwama. The marriage of the two was getting a big hurdle because of Section 370, but now the people of any state in the country can connect with the people of Jammu and Kashmir after the Modi government removed the Constitution which would give Jammu and Kashmir a special status. With Section 370, girls from Jammu and Kashmir, if they marry youths from any other State, their citizenship in Jammu and Kashmir would have been permanently abolished, but now the section has been removed.
