Bangalore: Former Karnataka CM and senior BJP leader Jagadish Shettar has given a stern warning to the top leadership of the party. Shettar said today, i.e., Saturday, that if the party does not finalise his ticket by tomorrow, he will be forced to make a tough decision. Shettar said that he would wait until Sunday. He said that if I do not get the ticket, then the party will have to face the loss of 25 seats in the coming assembly elections. According to media reports, former CM Shettar said that the party has to ensure that there is no negative impact of not giving tickets. Former CM BS Yeddyurappa has also said that if Shettar does not get the ticket, it will not affect only one place but will have a complete effect in 20–25 assembly constituencies in North Karnataka. On the other hand, regarding the resignations of councillors, Shettar has said that they (the councillors) are hurt. Enough is enough for them. His sentiments have been hurt, so he is expressing his anger by resigning from the municipal corporation.
