VHP launches campaign against Love Jihad and Conversion

New Delhi: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has announced a nationwide campaign against love jihad and forced conversions. He has demanded the central government to make strict laws against it. Along with this, a list of more than 400 cases of love jihad has also been released. The VHP has described 'love jihad' as the most gruesome, cruel, and inhuman of many forms of jihad. VHP Joint General Secretary Dr. Surendra Jain on Thursday (December 1, 2022) demanded the central government to make strict laws to stop love jihad and illegal conversions. Jain said "Love jihad is a major threat to social unrest and national security. In such a situation, there is a strong need for a strong central law to stop illegal conversions. Its gruesome form has come to light in the Shraddha murder case.''

Dr. Jain warned Muslim fundamentalists to control both their tongue and their men. Muslim society in India has more rights than Hindus for development, but trying to provoke every issue will push Muslim society on the path of destruction, not development.

He announced a nationwide public awareness campaign against conversion. VHP's joint general secretary said that due to this, Bajrang Dal will take out Shaurya Yatra in every block from December 1 to 10. At the same time, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad will run a Dharma Raksha campaign from December 21 to 31. According to Jain, the Kerala High Court had also described love jihad in 2010 as the most gruesome form of conversion. He said that this cannot be avoided as the cruelty of jihadi youths with some perverted mindset. The inspiration of Mullah-Maulvi and radical Muslim leaders are behind this along with the protection of the Tukde-Tukde gang. According to Dr. Jain, the gang 'Sar Tan Se Juda' had also become active very fast in the past. In such a situation, illegal conversion, the terrorist nexus of love jihad, and its international nature cannot be stopped by making laws only in some states. This requires a nationwide resolution, which will only be possible by a strong national law.
