Hyderabad: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann have met Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) in Hyderabad on Saturday (May 27). Arvind Kejriwal is meeting to garner support from prominent politicians from across the country against the ordinance passed by the Centre nominating Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) V K Saxena as administrator. The Supreme Court had recently passed an order empowering the Delhi government to make laws and transfer and posting bureaucrats. Using this power, CM Kejriwal also removed a vigilance officer Rajashekhar from the post, after which the central government brought an ordinance and Rajasekhar got his post back. Rajasekhar is the same officer who is investigating the Delhi liquor scam and the multi-crore rupees spent on the decoration of CM Kejriwal's bungalow. He also sought time to meet Rahul and Kharge. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has also sought an appointment with Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge and former president Rahul Gandhi. CM Kejriwal wrote a letter to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday seeking an appointment with him. "Have sought an appointment with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge ji and Rahul Gandhi ji this morning to get Congress support in Parliament against the undemocratic and unconstitutional ordinance passed by the BJP government and to discuss the general attack on the federal structure and the current political situation," Kejriwal tweeted.
