Thiruvananthapuram: Soon after governor Arif Mohammad Khan appeared at the House to address the Budget session of the Assembly, the Opposition, led by the Congress, began screaming "go back" cries against him. Members of the opposition staged a walkout from the Kerala Assembly on Friday, alleging a "unholy alliance" between governor Arif Mohammad Khan and the Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left Front administration. After that, the members staged a demonstration outside the Assembly building. According to reports, shortly after Khan arrived in the House to address the Budget session of the Assembly, the Opposition, led by the Congress, began shouting "go back" shouts at him. Apart from shouting slogans, Opposition MLAs were spotted carrying banners and placards that said "government-governor evil link." After boycotting the sessions, MPs staged a protest sit-in at the House portal.
