New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday addressed the 95th Annual Conference of the Association of Indian Universities and the Conference of Vice-Chancellors through video conference. Due to this, he told that India has been the mother of democracy in the world. Democracy has been a part of our civilization, our modalities. After independence, India went ahead by strengthening its same democratic heritage, Babasaheb gave its strong foundation to the country. The Prime Minister said, 'When the knowledge comes, only the self-respect also increases. By self-respect, a person is aware of his rights and with equal rights, harmony comes in the society, and the country progresses. Doctor Ambedkar used to say "I have three worship gods. Knowledge, self-respect, and modesty. What a student can do is his inner strength, but if we give him institutional power along with his inner strength, then it makes his development wider. Through this mail, our youth can do what they want to do". He further said, 'Every student has his own ability, On the basis of these abilities, students and teachers also have three questions. First- what can they do? Second- if they are taught, what can they do? And third - what do they want to do. Baba Saheb talked about equal opportunities, equal rights. Today, the country is making economic inclusion of every person through Jan Dhan accounts. Through the DBT, the money of the poor is directly reaching his account'.
