Kolkata: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) Mamata Banerjee visited Mathabhanga in Sitalakuchi, Coochbehar on Wednesday, before the fifth phase of voting in April 17. During this, CM Mamata Banerjee met the families of those killed in the firing of the CISF here. CM Mamata Banerjee promised that we will arrest the murderers as soon as possible. At the same time, Mamata promised to make Shaheed Bedi.

Mamata Banerjee, as per her schedule, reached Matha Bhanga at 10 am and met the families of the victims. Mamata Banerjee's helicopter landed on the ground opposite Mathabhanga Hospital. After this, Mamata met the family members of the deceased. The family of the four deceased youths reached Mathabhanga early in the morning to meet Mamata Banerjee. After meeting the families of the victims, Mamata Banerjee said "I did not have any rally here, but I have come to meet the family. One is the wife of the deceased pregnant, while the other has small children of the deceased, we will ensure justice to all. Today I have 6 programs, I do not have time, but still, I came, the Election Commission had banned me for 72 hours, otherwise, my siblings would have come long before they were involved in the pain".

CM Mamata further said "The government is with all the victims of political violence, including the family of Sitalkuchi victims, we will catch the killers of Anand Burman. This is what Rajbanshi and Muslims are, we will make Shaheed Bedi in memory of the 5 people killed after the election". Taking a dig at the Election Commission, She said, "Maybe the Election Commission will give me one more notice, but I will do what I want to do". Let me tell you that Anand Burman's murder polling during the fourth phase Booth, but his family flatly refused to meet Mamata and said that TMC goons should be arrested first.
