Video: Krunal Pandya gets emotional held up by Hardik after playing match-up innings

New Delhi: Indian cricket team all-rounder Krunal Pandya has made history in his debut One Day International match. Krunal has become the fastest batsman to score a fifty in a debut match. He achieved this position by scoring a half-century in just 26 balls in the first ODI against England. Krunal scored an unbeaten 58 from 31 balls in the match, in which he hit seven fours and two sixes.

Thanks to this innings, India scored a huge score of 317/5 runs in the prescribed 50 overs. Krunal will be 30 years old on Wednesday (March 24) after one day. He made his debut match memorable. Krunal Pandya is the 15th Indian batsman to score 50+ runs on debut in ODI International cricket. Earlier, in 2016, Faiz Fazal did this feat. With this, he has become the third Indian batsman after Saba Karim and Ravindra Jadeja to hit FIFTY on debut, batting at number 7 or below. Krunal has also become the batsman to jointly score the fastest half-century against England. Also, this is the fastest half-century of any Indian batsman after 2012.

Krunal Pandya went to batting at number 7, at that time Team India was in trouble. India lost the wickets of Shikhar Dhawan (98) and Hardik Pandya (1) in the run of fast runs. In the 41st over, India's score was 205 for 5 wickets. At that time, the Indian team needed a fast partnership. Krunal and KL Rahul (62 not out) did not disappoint the team with an unbeaten partnership of 112 runs off 57 balls. After his match-winning innings, he became very emotional. He dedicated this innings to his late father. Due to Krunal being emotional, Murali Karthik asked him to take his time. Krunal and others were not in a position to speak and asked Murali Karthik to end the interview. After this, Hardik took over his elder brother.
