Bengaluru: With thousands of Indian citizens returning from Ukraine as part of Operation Ganga, the Karnataka government announced on Saturday that 368 students had been evacuated from the country, with the remaining 298 expected to return in the next three to four days. On February 24, the Karnataka government appointed a nodal officer to aid the evacuation and smooth transit of citizens from the state who are stranded in Ukraine's troubled region to their destinations. Meanwhile, the Union government has depkloyed 'special envoys' to four bordering nations to coordinate and supervise the evacuation of Indian nationals.
