KTM announced the launch of the 2nd-gen RC200 and RC125 sportsbikes in India

The 2nd-gen KTM RC200 and RC125 sportsbikes were recently launched in India at special introductory pricing of 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and 1.82 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. The new RC200 motorbike has already arrived at company dealerships.

The RC390, which has a larger capacity, will be officially launched in the following months, most likely in the first half of 2022, according to the firm. When compared to the previous-gen model, the new-gen RC200 has a number of improvements.

It has at least 16 new features that make it more sporty to ride and enhance aerodynamics. New adjustable handlebars, new LCD dash instrument cluster, increased fuel tank volume from 9.5 to 13.7 litres, new LED headlight, new and larger airbox, all-new stiffer, lighter split-steel trellis frame, new SUPERMOTO ABS, new, sharper taillight design, and new lighter and high-strength wheels are just a few of the features.

The KTM RC Range Gen-2 comes with an all-new chassis, which has a steel trellis frame with bolt-on subframe, as well as lightweight wheels and brakes. The KTM RC Range blends track day ergonomics and daily use into a refined racing bike with fully adjustable handlebar risers.

The KTM RC200 is powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 199cc engine with dual overhead camshafts, four valves, and electronic fuel injection. The total power and torque statistics stay the same.

In addition, all KTM dealerships in India have begun taking reservations for the new RC200. The Austrian bike manufacturer has also begun full-scale production of the new bike.
