KTM has introduced its 390 Adventure bike in India for 2023

New Delhi: Days after releasing the inexpensive Adventure X variant, KTM has introduced the 2023 version of its 390 Adventure bike in India. Although the bodywork and suspension of the two models are similar, the latter lacks a variety of technological features. So how do the two motorcycles differ from one another? Let's look at it.

A powerful fuel tank, split-style seats, an upswept exhaust, a split LED headlamp, and a windscreen are shared by the KTM 390 Adventure and Adventure X. They have alloy wheels that are 19 inches up front and 17 inches back.

The former receives an Atlantic Blue and Dark Galvano Black colour scheme, as well as a Bluetooth-enabled TFT instrument cluster. The X model has an LCD display and is available in Dark Galvano Black and Galactic Blue.

The KTM 390 Adventure has a fuel capacity of 14.5 litres, a 200mm ground clearance, and a 162kg kerb weight. Adventure X weighs 161 kg in contrast. It has the same amount of fuel storage space and ground clearance as the standard model.

An OBD-2-compliant 373.27cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine with a dual overhead camshaft powers the KTM 390 Adventure and Adventure X in India.

A 6-speed gearbox and a quick-shifter are paired with the engine (only on the standard model). The motor's maximum output is 43 hp at 9,000 revolutions per minute and its maximum torque is 37 Nm at 7,000.

The duo's suspension is handled by 43mm inverted forks up front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock unit at the back.
