Lucknow: Five people died in a painful accident that took place on Tuesday (November 22) morning in the Palia police station area of Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, six people are also said to be injured in this accident. Two primary teachers are also among the dead. The incident took place on Tuesday at around 7 am on Palia Bheera Road near Atariya village. As per reports, a Xylo car from Shahjahanpur was going toward Palia with 11 passengers. Near Ataria village, potholes have been formed. In these potholes, the car got uncontrollable and overturned in the roadside ditch, where the flood water was filled. The car remained lying in the ditch for a long time later when passersby saw this scene and informed the police. Police reached the spot and pulled out the people trapped in the car. Inspector PK Mishra has informed that 5 people died on the spot in the accident. While six others are injured and are being treated at Palia CHC. The Inspector has told that the identification of the dead is being done. These include two primary teachers. The Block Education Officer has been called to the spot for identification.
