Srinagar: Security forces have arrested a terrorist from Baramulla in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the report, this terrorist was working for Lashkar-e-Taiba by staying in Kashmir. Security forces had received intelligence about terrorist activities. After this, the security forces launched a search operation. Police and security forces cordoned off the entire area. The militant was hiding in Nagbal village in Chandusa area of north Kashmir district. A mobile vehicle check point was set up here to catch him. According to the report, the Jammu and Kashmir Police has informed that the terrorist tried to escape after seeing the check point. The check points were set up at the Sranj crossing in Nagbal. As soon as the terrorist started fleeing on seeing the check point, the security forces nabbed him. When the security forces searched him, a hand grenade was found from him. After which the terrorist was immediately taken into custody. The security forces are interrogating him. The terrorist has been identified as Mohammad Ashraf Mir. He is said to be a resident of Laridoora in Chandusa. He was working for the Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. A police spokesman said that ashraf Mir surrendered after he could not escape. A case has been registered against the terrorist under the Indian Arms Act and UAPA.
