Chennai: A case of gang rape of a young woman at knifepoint has come to light from Vellore in Tamil Nadu. In this case, the police have taken into custody four accused, including two minors. The police have to speak about the fact that the victim was coming with her friend at around 1 am after watching the film. In the meantime, the two took an auto on which some people were already there. The victim said it was too late in the night. So she thought it appropriate to sit in the auto. In her complaint to the police through e-mail, the victim said she asked the auto driver to leave Vellore Hospital. After going some distance, the auto driver changed the route. At the same time, some of his activities seemed suspicious and she increased the speed of the auto, even more, when she asked the driver why he is going the wrong way. On this, the auto driver said that due to maintenance, that road is closed. So he took this path. After some time, the auto was stopped at a deserted place and robbed the duo at knifepoint. The mobile phone, Rs 40,000, gold chain were snatched and the woman was gang-raped by threatening to kill her after being assaulted. When the police interrogated them, it was found that they were fighting among themselves to distribute the looted goods. The police interrogated them strictly and the whole case came out. In this case, the police have already detained four accused, of which two are minors. Police have registered a case against the accused under sections 147, 148, 342, 365, 378, 376(d), 376(e), 395, 397 and 506(II) and the search for the fifth accused is still on.
