After Maharashtra, now Kashi also started reciting 'Hanuman Chalisa' at the time of Azaan

Varanasi: A case like reciting the Hanuman Chalisa through a loudspeaker in Maharashtra has now started in Kashi, the city of religion. Loudspeakers have been installed in Varanasi by the Srikashi Vishwanath Gyanvapi Liberation Movement. Where Hanuman Chalisa is recited in a loud voice during the Azaan. These loudspeakers have been installed on the roofs of people's houses.

Sudhir Singh, head of the movement in the Saket Nagar area of Varanasi, has started it from his home. He has said that at the time of Azaan, Hanuman Chalisa will be played through a loudspeaker in a similar way. He said his aim was not to disturb Hindu-Muslim harmony. Sudhir Singh, the head of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Gyanvapi Mukti Andolan, who had installed a loudspeaker at his house, said that there used to be Vedic text in temples since early morning in Kashi and there used to be puja-recitation and Hanuman Chalisa recitation, due to pressure, all these things stopped.

Sudhir Singh said that the reason behind this was cited by the court order, which attributed to noise pollution, we removed the loudspeakers from our temples, but mosques still have loudspeakers, the sound of Azaan starts coming from 4:30 a.m. Sudhir Singh further said that we have decided that when the sound of Azaan is coming, why not we should also chant Vedic mantras and recite Hanuman Chalisa from our temples on loudspeakers. Because of this, we started playing Hanuman Chalisa on the loudspeaker at the time of Azaan.
